Hobbies
I'm and avid hiker and backpacker, but I also love sitting down alone with a good book or playing a video game. The ocean is my greatest passion, and I can go on for hours about marine biology, history, and conservation if you let me. I even write an ocean science blog which you're welcome to check out at www.depthandtaxa.blogspot.com. In high school I was kind of awkward, but I learned how to be comfortable in my skin, and I love using my experiences to help my students discover themselves while also learning their subjects.
