I find it very rewarding when students light up because they understand a subject that they have had difficulty learning. I had my own frustrations as a middle school student, struggling to learn information from the instructor in the classroom. I was embarrassed that I still needed help, and I didn't want to speak up in class. As a tutor, I can help students with this to focus on their needs and help them learn successfully. I work at the student's pace, and I provide support and encouragement to help my students become confident in their abilities. My success is defined by the success of my student, and I will do whatever I can tell my students learn. I can tutor English, elementary school math, essays, pre-algebra, public speaking, reading, study skills, writing, and others. In my spare time, I enjoy digital scrapbooking, paddle boarding, camping, and travel.
