Experience
When I lived in California, I attended the University of La Verne, where I obtained my California teaching credential. I used what I learned through that program to create programs when I worked at the Boys and Girls Club in the area. I spent time as a student teacher in both second and fifth grade classes. I also have experience tutoring middle school students in math. I now work as a substitute teacher in the area, and especially enjoy working as a tutor. I learned a lot about teaching techniques at university, and am qualified to tutor students in a wide variety of subjects, including various levels of math, science, social students, and language arts. A few of the specific subjects I'm available to tutor students in are writing and reading, American history, geography, and American Sign Language. I can also help students learn the skills they need to study more effectively in all their classes, such as organization and time management.
