I'm a tutor who is based out of Spokane, Washington, where I enjoy reading, playing sports, and spending time outdoors with my dog when I'm not in the classroom working with students. I have my bachelor's degree in humanities from Washington State University and my masters degree in rhetoric and composition also from Washington State University. As a tutor, I'm able to help students in a wide range of subject areas. Some of the lessons I've taught in the past have been in reading, writing, and standardized test preparation, amongst other things. I've been working with students for almost five years. I love working as a tutor because I'm passionate about making the world a better place. I view the work I do with students as making the world a better place, one step at a time. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when one of my students finally has a breakthrough moment in a subject they've been struggling with. To help facilitate these breakthroughs, I provide individualized lesson plans that allow my students to get targeted practice on all of their problem areas.
