I worked as a teachers assistant for two writing classes while attending classes at the University and tutored many student on writing (essays, poetry and fiction) and analyzing literature. I love the promotion of learning inside or outside the class. Even though I am a graduate, I have learned to adapt and keep studying what I love while working toward a career of my own. Passing on this philosophy is important, and providing additional tools to you students is an accomplishment one should relish. I have travelled and taken University courses in six different countries. I took the old SATs, before they had the essay portion, and scored a 1280. Which was respectable for its time, and I scored two 4's and a 3 on my A.P. tests. Though, I have since learned that tests are not people testing you, it's you testing yourself, which is something I wish I would have learned earlier.

Hobbies
I am a filmmaker and have started my own production company. I used to write for the Inlander, though now I only freelance. I enjoy soccer, play the piano, guitar and banjo, bake, write endlessly, read poetry, ficiton, non-fiction, screenplays, etc., watch movies, make movies, and spend time with friends. Travel is very important, and if I had more means I would do it more often, however, it must be said that having a home base is nice sometimes. I work currently for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission... which is not as interesting as it sounds.
