I want to help students become confident in their skills, and learn techniques for when they are studying on their own. I believe all students should feel empowered by their educations, and it is my goal as a tutor to help them.I have worked as a teaching assistant for Whitworth University, as well as a youth mentor for a church. Additionally, I have taught English to students in Taiwan.I offer tutoring in Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, IB Philosophy HL and SL, IB Psychology HL and SL, Public Speaking, AP World History, Mandarin Chinese, Social Studies, English, Social Science, Languages, Philosophy, European History, U.S. History, World History, and test prep for the SAT and GRE. I can also help students develop their study skills and organization.I am a graduate of Whitworth University.In my free time, I love to read and write, as well as go hiking. I also enjoy playing video games and watching old movies.
