I majored in Spanish as an undergraduate at Eastern Washington University, earned a minor in ESL. I enjoy tutoring students in ESL, English, and Spanish, and I like to help students learn about the cultures of these languages as a way to help them better understand and appreciate the language. Ultimately, I want students to love languages and culture as much as I do. I really enjoyed my mission work overseas, and I've been to Honduras on three different occasions. The ability to communicate with people and other lands and experience their way of life, customs, and culture is what drives me to inspire language learning in others. When I have free time, I enjoy art, listening to music, playing and coaching soccer, going on hikes, and cooking.
