I'm an educator based in Spokane, Washington. Education has always played an important role in my life. I can vividly remember being a young child, imagining what it would be like to become a teacher one day. I've always wanted to help others in need, a trait that, as I've grown older, has expressed itself in a desire to be in the field of teaching. As part of this long-standing desire to teach, I began working with various age groups in a childcare setting. As I worked with different-aged children, I began to find the age group that I felt like I had the most impact on -- preschool students from ages three to five. I found it very rewarding to work with these children and their families. We worked together, as a team, to support the children in reaching their goals and to support the parents in learning how to best support their child's growth. I plan on continuing pursuing my desire to help others -- a path I think will eventually lead me to complete my master's degree in addition to educating and volunteering in my community. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy being social, being outdoors, and trying new things. I hope that the skills I've spent my life developing can help you reach your child reach their educational goals.
